On February 28, 2017, the Trademark Office issued U.S. Registration No. 5,150,000 for THE SUCCESSION COMPANY, which FP Transitions, LLC registered for “Business succession planning.”  This prompted me to wonder about other numerical milestone trademarks.  Below are some of the most noteworthy milestone trademarks.  Interestingly, the milestone trademarks cover a wide variety of goods and services.

One notable trend worth mentioning is the time between registration milestones is continuing to grow shorter and shorter — so short, in fact, that we may see the issuance of trademark Reg. No. 5,500,000 as soon as next year!
